Silver inks for shrink sleeves
SMART INKS UV sleeve – Silver & LIQUISMART S/H 8740/06 – Silver SD
Getting a nice metallic effect after shrinkage is a challenge. RADIOR has developed new silver inks offering better resistance to shrinkage and excellent adhesion. The SMART INKS UV Sleeve is suitable for UV Flexography and the LIQUISMART S/H 8740/06 for solvent based Rotogravure.
Chrome-like effect silver inks
SUPRAMETAL S/H, SUPRAMETAL S/F and SUPRAMETAL UV
RADIOR is proposing a full range of mirror-like effect inks suitable for solvent based Rotogravure and Flexography as well as for UV Flexography and UV Screen printing. These silver inks can be an alternative to metallized substrates and stamping foils. It also allows the printers to achieve high metallic effect in line in a cost effective way. The SUPRAMETAL is particularly adapted for printing fine design.
Low migration
SMART INKS UV LM/FP
A new generation of low migration metallic inks recommended for food packaging printing. SMART INKS UV LM/FP is designed for UV Flexography printing. It provides good metallic effect and coverage. These inks can be printed on various substrates.
UV scratch off
SCRATCH OFF UV/F soft – Silver
Our new UV Flexo scratch off silver is providing a nice feeling when scratched. It is more “rubbery” than the standard types which are generally brighter but more brittle. This renders the ink more akin in respect of scratchability to Solvent and waterbased types. The main properties of all our scratch off has been respected: full filled opacity, excellent printability and good scratchability. This ink, like all our scratch off inks, is suitable for commercial as well as security printing (lottery game, cards…).

The printing of UV fluorescent inks is problematic. Our R&D team has developed a new formulation improving the fluorescent effect and the curing. These new versions of our FLUOSMART 7930 & 5930 series are now available, providing excellent fluorescent effect in only ONE pass.

Accompanying the evolution of the market , RADIOR is launching new ranges of metallic and fluorescent inks suitable for UV low Energy Sheetfed. Up to day, this is the state-of-the-art development on the market. These inks offer good metallic and fluorescent effects and may be printed on various substrates (porous, uncoated, coated…).
Low migration
RADIORPLUS LO/LM & UV 52010 LO/LM series
A new generation of low migration metallic inks recommended for food packaging printing. RADIORPLUS LO/LM is suitable for conventional sheetfed offset and 52010 series (2 components) is suitable for sheetfed UV offset or web UV offset. Radior has improved the transfer of these Inks ( Density) and their printability. The ensuing results are excellent. These inks may be easily printed at very High speeds.
